I was loading the truck with usual kid stuff for an afternoon at the beach. I let the kids play in the truck until I was ready. It was one of those times when each time I thought I was ready I remembered one more thing. In and out of the house I went while in and out of the truck the kids went. As I was adding items to our endless supply of kid stuff and they were adding additional items we needed from the garage into the truck… a hammer, rackets, and bicycle helmets. I placed them in their seats and they each placed the helmets on their heads. I thought, is this some indication of the way I drive. My 2 and 3 years olds feel the need to where helmets in the car. Probably not a bad idea based on all the other crazy drivers on the roads not me :). They did wear the helmets for the entire car ride.
