Long Island=Long Driving

We take a trip to Long Island, courtesy of Icon Nicholson, we visit Montauk Lighthouse, take a walk on the beach and then sit in lots and lots of traffic.  If you have never sat in NYC traffic you haven't sat in traffic.  The plan was to drop off the car in NJ and then take the train back to our apartment in the city... simple right.  We arrived in the city (we had to drive through the city to get to NJ) 2 hours after we had anticipated.  We then make an attempt at continuing on to NJ but after grid lock traffic and the truck driver from behind us approaching our window asking us why we aren't pulling forward through the red light to make an attempt at blocking any car possible from the other way, we decide to ditch the plan of continuing to NJ.  We literally sat through 20 green lights before finally crossing over the street to head back to our apartment.

First Tooth

You cut your first tooth.  Not because I was checking for teeth did I discover one, it was because you grabbed my finger and bit down, like usual, but this time it didn't feel so soft on Mama's finger.  From that day forward I no longer made my finger available as a teething ring.

On the Go.

Your lower body catches up with your upper body and you put all 4 limbs in motion- you are officially crawling.
