She made it up the first step and moments after taking this picture I caught her rolling off the second step.

Super Moon Day

We watched the “super” moon rise over the ocean on Saturday.  It was amazingly beautiful and this picture just doesn't even come close to showing the true beauty, color, and size of what we experienced.

I made it through another NJ winter,

Looks like we have seen the last of winter weather here in NJ.

Beautiful signs of Spring are here.

Daffodils are getting ready to bloom.

Mystery Solved

As I was driving the ‘ol kiddos to school this morning  I remembered that I had forgotten to pack them each a snack.  I began fishing around their backpacks with the hopes of finding something they had forgotten to eat, something that could work as a snack for the day.  In the front pocket of Korben’s backpack I found a sticky bag of pretzels.

Me:  Korben, why is this bag of pretzels so sticky?

Korben (very matter a factly):  Well, because there is a rotten banana in there.

 

 

Indeed, it certainly was a rotten banana.  And that explains the horrific smell coming from Korben’s back pack.

Koah: I want to go outside and ride my bike.

Me: Ok, just put your boots and jacket on first.

He did exactly what he was told.  I looked outside moments later and realized that I neglected to put pants on him.
