Sugar

He asked me for a cheese stick but I was too busy watching a youtube video to stop that instant. I told him to wait and I would get him something to eat in a few minutes. Apparently I didn't act quick enough, for he took it upon himself to get some lunch.

Santa brought this lollipop to my daughter because this is want she asked him for.  She didn’t ask him for toys, just sugar on a stick.  Like mother like daughter.

Valentine’s Day

This picture was given to me by my 7 year old son for Valentine’s Day.

He said to me, “Mom, Happy Valentine’s Day!  Can you find the hidden words in the heart?”

I stared at the heart focusing hard on finding the hidden words.  I found a few and he told me a few that I failed to see.

End of story… until later when I looked at the picture again and noticed 4 flags drawn on the paper.  I was so focused on finding the hidden words (and distracted with 3 other children) I didn’t even notice the flags. Four flags, the Untied States, Canada, Japan, and (with the help of flag finder) North Rhine- Westphalia… very interesting.

I get hearts and flags for Valentine’s Day.

Streb

For the first time since Freya was born (8 months ago) I left her for 3 solid hours and did something fun for myself. I am passionate about nursing but it sure is demanding and exhausting.

My brother, his family, Korben, Kenzie, and I went to the show Streb Extreme at the State Theater. I'm having a hard time putting into words exactly what I saw, other than it was thrilling, and beautiful, and fun. If you ever have a chance to check them out I would highly recommend it.

Here's a little taste in their Streb Promo 2010.
